About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage employee relations investigations and recommend corrective actions
- Lead investigations and audits regarding compliance with laws and regulations
- Conduct corrective action meetings including terminations
- Supervise and develop ER specialists and coordinators
- Manage government contacts regarding DOL, EEOC, and ICE regulations
- Establish and execute labor relations strategy and participate in contract negotiations
- Advise and train managers on best employee relations practices
- Analyze absenteeism, leave status, and productivity to drive improvements
- Develop programs to improve employee morale and involvement
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- 3+ years of relevant HR experience
- 5+ years of managerial experience
- 2+ years of dedicated employee or labor relations experience
- Strong command of written and spoken English
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in human resource management, organizational psychology, or labor relations
- Advanced degree in a related field
- Previous experience in the manufacturing industry
