Employee Relations Specialist

Responsibilities

• Lead the interpretation and implementation of human resources policies and procedures
• Direct company employee relations and training programs while ensuring EEO compliance
• Maintain government contacts and stay updated on regulations affecting employee relations
• Develop and recommend programs for establishing employee performance standards
• Analyze absenteeism, leave status, and productivity to drive improvements in employee relations climate
• Lead internal investigations and audits regarding compliance with laws and company policies
• Drive programs to improve employee morale and involvement
• Recruit, interview, and reference applicants for open positions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required
• Several years of relevant HR experience or 2+ years of direct HR-Employee Relations experience
• Strong command of written and spoken English
• Knowledge of business management, personnel recruitment, and labor relations
• Ability to move about manufacturing plant campus and production areas

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in human resource management, organizational psychology, or labor relations
• Advanced degree in a related field
• Previous managerial experience
• Previous experience in the manufacturing industry
