About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day relationships with German Works Councils, ensuring clear and proactive communication
- Draft, review, and negotiate works agreements (Betriebsvereinbarungen) in coordination with Legal
- Advise HRBPs and business leaders on co-determination rights and BetrVG requirements
- Support critical business projects including organizational changes and policy rollouts
- Maintain thorough documentation of all Works Council interactions and negotiation outcomes
- Contribute expertise to broader European employee relations topics
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in German co-determination and employee relations
- Deep knowledge of German labor law and the BetrVG (Works Constitution Act)
- Proven experience drafting works agreements and negotiating with Works Councils
- Degree in Law, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Native-level fluency in German and advanced proficiency in English
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in French
- Experience working in high-growth tech environments
