About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage complex ER cases including disciplinary issues, misconduct, performance concerns, grievances, redundancies, and complex absences.
- Conduct independent investigations into complex HR-related concerns, analyzing evidence to reach investigative conclusions.
- Provide counsel to business leaders on disciplinary actions, policy interpretation, and regional employment practices.
- Support organization redesign, workforce realignment, and performance management initiatives across Southeast Asia and APAC.
- Maintain detailed ER case documentation, including investigation reports and issue analysis.
- Partner with HR Business Partners and legal teams to balance risk and ensure consistent case management.
- Examine ER trends to diagnose root causes and develop corrective actions and training to improve leader effectiveness.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of Employee Relations experience.
- Significant exposure to organization redesign, workforce realignment, and performance management.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulatory frameworks across the Asia Pacific region.
- Proven experience managing complex, high-volume employee relations cases and providing risk-based advice.
- Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex, and evolving business environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting regional or global restructuring and organizational change initiatives across multiple jurisdictions.
- Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to advise and challenge senior leaders.
- Sound judgment and a pragmatic approach to managing sensitive and ambiguous employee relations matters.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
