Employee Relations Director

Responsibilities

• Lead investigations and manage ER cases, performance concerns, and disciplinary issues.
• Resolve complex employment matters and champion strategic ER practices to mitigate risk.
• Manage or support employment-related actions such as staff reductions, reorganizations, and relocations.
• Develop initiatives and training for people managers and HR Business Partners on ER best practices.
• Design and maintain ER policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Analyze case trends and translate insights into practical solutions and risk mitigation strategies.
• Partner with Legal and internal regional teams to monitor global employment laws and ensure compliance.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of related experience in an Employee Relations or HR Business Partner role.
• Deep knowledge of employment law and ER practices.
• Proven ability to manage complex, high-risk cases and investigations.
• Solid analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Law degree with a concentration in employment law.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or an equivalent field.
