Employee Relations Business Partner

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Social Policy and Industrial Relations (SPIR) strategies for the Belfast site
• Manage HR policy to ensure high performance and consistency across the business
• Lead consultation and negotiation with recognized Trade Unions on a broad range of topics
• Provide expert advice and guidance to internal HR customers and Managers regarding HR policy application
• Assist HR Business Partners with complex case management
• Support the development of HR policies in line with business needs and legislative changes, specifically in Northern Ireland
• Communicate policy changes to all user groups and provide necessary training to support transitions
• Collaborate with Reward Operations and other Centres of Expertise to ensure effective administration of UK HR policies
• Work with external legal advisers on complex employee relations issues and SPIR projects

Requirements

• Proven knowledge of employment law, with a desire to specialize in Northern Ireland legislation
• Experience in a generalist HR role dealing with HR policies, procedures, and tools
• Experience working with Trade Unions
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels
• Excellent organizational and project management skills
• Ability to work autonomously while managing both operational activities and strategic projects
