Employee Benefits Financial Consultant

Responsibilities

• Deliver core financial modeling, claims projections, and strategic renewal analysis for self-funded and level-funded clients
• Translate complex financial data into client-ready insights and represent the Financial Strategy function in client discussions
• Complete IBNR and claims projections with minimal oversight
• Consult on stop-loss programs and funding strategies for self-funded clients
• Support financial negotiations with carriers and vendors
• Drive process improvements within financial analytics workflows
• Review data entry from junior associates and provide mentorship to Client Associates

Requirements

• Active Life & Health License
• Bachelor’s degree
• 4+ years of relevant experience in employee benefits or financial consulting
• Proficiency with self-funded plans
• Strong technical analysis proficiency
• Knowledge of market trends in funding and pricing
