Employee Benefits Consultant

Responsibilities

• Act as lead consultant for a portfolio of Irish health, risk, and wellbeing clients
• Provide strategic advice on group risk (Life, SPDIS, GIP, Critical Illness) and group health insurance
• Design and review employee benefit strategies aligned to client objectives and workforce needs
• Project manage end-to-end renewal processes, including underwriting and insurer negotiations
• Build and maintain strong relationships with insurers to secure competitive terms
• Develop and maintain trusted senior relationships with key client stakeholders
• Ensure all advice and documentation complies with Central Bank of Ireland regulations and GDPR
• Mentor junior consultants and support the development of team capability

Requirements

• Qualified Financial Adviser (QFA) and/or APA qualification (mandatory)
• Proven experience in a client-facing health, risk, or wellbeing consulting role within the Irish market
• Strong technical knowledge of group risk and/or group health insurance products
• Experience managing complex corporate client relationships and renewals
• Strong understanding of Irish regulatory and compliance obligations
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
