Employee Benefits Consultant

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to understand business needs and objectives
• Identify and qualify potential sales opportunities and execute independent strategies
• Match optimal insurance products to unique client business needs
• Build and maintain relationships with key decision makers and influencers
• Collaborate with internal and external resources to maximize sales opportunities
• Represent the company at trade association meetings and industry gatherings
• Mentor rookie producers

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business, Entrepreneurship, or a related discipline
• For Associate level: sales internship experience
• For Experienced level: B2B sales consulting or relevant industry sales experience
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Strong facilitation, negotiation, and persuasion skills
• Ability to manage pipeline data and measure performance standards
