About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic consultative advice to corporate clients regarding the design, delivery, and ongoing management of health-related benefit programmes.
- Manage a portfolio of clients consisting of community and experience-rated private medical insurance schemes.
- Interact effectively with vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders to ensure quality standards and deadlines are met.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends, perform benchmarking studies, and provide value-added research summaries.
- Analyse and compare vendor products, services, and contracts to support client decision-making.
- Meet financial targets, including chargeable hours and sales targets for developing existing relationships and securing new business.
Requirements
- Technical knowledge of health-related benefit programmes, including private medical insurance, dental, travel, and health cash plans.
- Understanding of broader employee health, risk, and wellbeing issues, ideally from a brokerage or insurance background.
- A consultative professional style with strong client service orientation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong presentation abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a fast-paced account team.
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
