eMotor Platform Requirements Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete lifecycle of product requirements for high-voltage e-Motor architectures, ensuring absolute clarity and traceability.
• Capture and structure all incoming external requirements, including legal, system, and auxiliary constraints.
• Identify and resolve technical contradictions by driving alignment between customers, project management, and multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
• Establish and maintain bi-directional traceability from external requirements down to system and component-level targets.
• Assign requirements to engineering disciplines and ensure timely feasibility feedback.
• Generate, review, and release crucial Requirement Specifications and verification documentation.
• Serve as the single technical point of contact for requirements regarding customers, system groups, and development teams.
• Support internal and external process compliance audits.

Requirements

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related automotive technical field.
• Professional experience in the development of electric drives or vehicle technology systems.
• Proficiency in requirements management tools such as Polarion, DOORS, or equivalent.
• Experience working within a V-Model development framework.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Dedicated professional experience specifically in Requirements Engineering.
• Proficiency in German.
• Experience utilizing advanced AI tools for requirements management.
