Emerging Threats Cyber Analyst

Responsibilities

• Conduct research to maintain an in-depth understanding of emerging cyber threats and Advanced Persistent Threats (APTs)
• Lead OSINT research and correlate world event trends to identify vulnerabilities across supply chains and critical systems
• Use predictive modeling and vulnerability assessments to evaluate threat impacts on national systems
• Analyze, correlate, and synthesize threat data from diverse sources to forecast future threats
• Document findings and create detailed reports to update tradecraft and present results to stakeholders
• Collaborate with development teams to articulate requirements for capability and tool enhancements
• Mentor and guide team analysts to foster professional growth and knowledge sharing

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Network Forensics, or a related data analysis field
• 7+ years of experience in intelligence, information security, network forensics, insider threat, or security operations
• Active TS/SCI security clearance with a polygraph
• U.S. Citizenship
• Proficiency in TCP/IP communication protocols and Packet Capture (PCAP) analysis using Wireshark
• Experience with OSINT research and vulnerability assessments
• Familiarity with writing signatures in Zeek and/or Snort
