About the role

Responsibilities

  • Drive growth through business development and management of key client relationships within the Emerging Middle Market segment ($10MM-$50MM revenue).
  • Lead the structuring of high-value, complex deals and secure credit approvals.
  • Manage high-value client portfolios, driving cross-selling, retention, and profitability.
  • Act as a strategic advisor on loan products, rates, terms, and collateral requirements.
  • Negotiate complex transactions and serve as a primary client advocate to align needs with bank objectives.
  • Analyze market trends and industry developments to optimize client solution strategies.
  • Ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements, internal controls, and risk management frameworks.
  • Represent the bank at industry forums and conferences to identify emerging trends and opportunities.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Relationship Management, Account Management, or Portfolio Management within a corporate or segmented banking environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • Proven expertise in deal structuring, negotiation, and credit risk assessment.
  • Strong credit knowledge and skills suitable for a credit-qualifiable role.
  • Advanced proficiency in Project Management and Change Management.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with high-value strategic clients.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Established Center of Influence (COI) network within the local market.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales performance metrics.
  • Experience working with clients in the $10MM to $50MM revenue range.
