About the role
Responsibilities
- Own the full sales process from initial discovery and demos to proposals, proof of concept, and contract execution
- Generate new revenue and bring on new customers to expand Sigma's presence in the business intelligence market
- Maintain accurate customer, pipeline, and forecast data within Salesforce
- Engage with partners in the data ecosystem to build pipeline and support customer initiatives
- Conduct consultative sales by leveraging knowledge of the data and analytics space
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience closing deals
- Proven track record of pipeline generation and quota attainment
- Must be based in New York City (or be willing to relocate)
- Strong desire for personal growth and career advancement in a high-growth startup environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the data space (Warehouses, Pipelines, Analytics, etc.)
- Background in high-tech software sales
- Experience with partnership and co-selling models
