Emergency Veterinarian

Responsibilities

• Perform triage, diagnostics, and medical management for a diverse emergency caseload
• Manage patient flow across the ER and ICU alongside a skilled technician team
• Develop diagnostic and treatment plans and communicate clearly with clients during critical moments
• Collaborate with specialists to provide advanced care and facilitate patient transfers
• Build relationships with referring veterinarians throughout the region
• Contribute to a teaching environment that supports interns, residents, and externs

Requirements

• DVM/VMD (or equivalent) from an AVMA-accredited veterinary school or ECFVG certification
• Ability to obtain Oregon veterinary licensure
• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills in emergency medicine
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced critical care environment
