Emergency Services & Security (ES&S) Technician (EMS/Firefighter)

Responsibilities

• Perform all work activities in a safe team environment following strict operating discipline and procedures.
• Drive and operate fire trucks, ambulances, and other emergency apparatus.
• Utilize troubleshooting skills to resolve deviations and accurately complete all required emergency paperwork.
• Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve process issues and ensure site safety.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Current NREMT or Texas Emergency Medical Technician – Basic (EMT-B) license.
• Valid US driver’s license and ability to obtain/maintain a Texas Class B Exempt driver's license.
• Possession of, or eligibility to obtain, a TWIC card.
• Ability to pass a physical ability test, including lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and operating heavy emergency equipment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to work a rotating 12-hour shift, including weekends, holidays, and overtime.

Preferred Qualifications

• Current NREMT or Texas paramedic license.
• Firefighter 1 & 2 certification.
• Industrial firefighting and rescue experience.
• Certification in confined space or high-angle rescue.
• Experience in production and process operations.
