Emergency Response Technician

Responsibilities

• Lead and prioritize emergency response and fire control prevention operations during assigned shifts
• Conduct regular inspections of fire extinguishers, spill kits, eyewash stations, first aid kits, and fire hose cabinets
• Perform Gemba walks to evaluate safety conditions of machinery and equipment to prevent emergencies
• Provide training to the Emergency Brigade and diverse staff members according to the training program
• Evaluate and authorize safety conditions for high-risk work activities
• Conduct fire protection inspections across various company areas and prepare reports on findings for corrective action
• Participate in post-mortem meetings following drills or actual emergency situations
• Support EHS Engineer on various safety projects

Requirements

• High school diploma (required)
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a firefighter or paramedic in public or private institutions
• Basic knowledge of industrial safety

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification as a Medical Emergency Technician or Paramedic
• Experience in pre-hospital medical care
