Emergency Response Shelter Assistant

Responsibilities

• Direct traffic and move material throughout the work area
• Show guests to their sleeping area and provide them with essential items
• Schedule residents for daily activities and services
• Clean and sanitize areas as assigned, including emptying trash
• Ensure that all residents wear face masks at all times
• Work in a fast-paced outdoor environment

Requirements

• Ability to report to work within 12-24 hours
• Willingness to work 2nd (2pm-10pm) or 3rd (10pm-6am) shifts
• Must be work-ready in Colorado
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Ability to wear a face mask
• Comfortable working long hours in an outdoor environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous emergency response experience (debris monitor or task force leader)
