Emergency Response Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Oversee the training and development of the Mine Rescue Team to ensure proficiency and MSHA regulatory compliance.
• Develop and maintain onboarding processes, continuous internal training programs, and yearly training schedules.
• Maintain comprehensive training, testing, and certification records for all Mine Rescue members.
• Manage inventory, service records, and readiness for all Mine Rescue supplies, equipment, and vehicles.
• Develop and maintain emergency response plans and create after-action reports for all incidents.
• Ensure compliance with MSHA requirements and participate in regulatory inspections.
• Manage budget proposals and ensure compliance with operational needs.
• Provide on-call support during designated shifts and assist the site Incident Management Team.

Requirements

• Underground mining experience.
• 5 years of experience in Mine Rescue, emergency response, or EMS.
• Experience with industrial emergency response systems and equipment.
• MSHA Blue Card.
• MSHA Mine Rescue Trainer Certification (MM / Red Card) or the ability to obtain it.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and reporting/documentation systems.
• Valid Driver's license.
• Ability to maintain required Mine Rescue certifications and physical qualifications.
