Emergency Nurse

Responsibilities

• Perform patient triage to classify urgency based on presented pathologies
• Assign patients to appropriate boxes or services based on clinical needs
• Manage patient reception and handover processes within the unit
• Maintain updated admission and discharge logs
• Collaborate with physicians to plan, execute, and evaluate nursing care plans from admission to discharge
• Review medical indications daily and organize treatment cards
• Manage stock levels by requesting necessary drugs and materials from pharmacy
• Identify patient needs by reviewing clinical histories and developing nursing diagnoses
• Ensure high-quality care and participate in updating nursing protocols
• Perform daily maintenance and checks on emergency crash carts

Requirements

• IAM management course
• CAPREA course
• ACLS course
• Neonatology course or proven experience in managing pathological newborns
• Knowledge of Manchester Triage system
• Knowledge of RCP (Resuscitation Council) protocols
• Expertise in emergency and critical care nursing
• Proficiency in diagnostic imaging assistance
