Emergency Nurse Practitioner

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, treat, and discharge patients, often in the 'Minors' area
• Perform patient assessments including pain management
• Diagnose issues such as sprains, strains, cuts, and bites
• Administer medications orally or via injection, including antibiotics
• Treat minor injuries including burns and wounds
• Read and assess X-rays
• Record ECG examinations

Requirements

• NMC registration
• Recent 6 months experience within the last 12 months
• Evidence of completion of V300 prescribing certificate
• Full EPP clearance of immunisations
• 2 clinical references verifying ENP skills
