Emergency Medicine Physician

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency calls and provide immediate medical attention to patients
• Assess and diagnose patients based on symptoms and medical history
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient condition
• Administer medications and treatments as needed
• Provide ongoing care and monitoring until patients are stable or transferred
• Document patient care and progress accurately in medical records
• Consult with specialists and other healthcare professionals as needed
• Educate patients and families on self-care and follow-up instructions

Requirements

• Degree from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an accredited residency program
• Valid and current state medical license
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to make quick, accurate decisions in high-stress environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in Emergency Medicine
