Emergency Medicine Physician

Responsibilities

• Perform medical evaluations and formulate differential diagnoses and treatment plans for urgent and emergent care
• Execute medical procedures including IV access, phlebotomy, medication administration, and EKGs
• Lead medical management by collaborating with PAs, nurses, and technicians
• Assess and treat Covid-related cases including point of care testing and symptom management
• Document clinical evaluations and treatments in Athena Health EHR
• Coordinate care with After Care, house calls teams, and Medical Partners
• Provide patient-centered, empathetic communication to patients and families

Requirements

• Medical Degree from an accredited university
• Active Physician state license in California
• ABEM board certified or board eligible
• 2+ years of experience in emergency departments or urgent care centers
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Valid DEA license
• Strong clinical skills and technical proficiency in phlebotomy and IV placement

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in concierge medicine
• EMS or prehospital experience
