Emergency Medicine Executive - Point of Care Diagnostics

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute complex, long-term sales strategies within healthcare networks to address customer pain points and maximize partnerships.
• Navigate complex accounts to build relationships with stakeholders in emergency medicine, laboratory, purchasing/supply chain, and the C-suite.
• Identify unmet needs in emergency medicine and align Abbott Point of Care solutions to those challenges.
• Oversee emergency medicine observation days to collect data and build compelling business cases for clinical and executive leadership.
• Guide customer champions through value analysis and purchasing processes, steering change management from implementation to workflow integration.
• Coordinate internal resources, including district managers, solution specialists, and medical science liaisons, to support the sales cycle.
• Utilize CRM (Salesforce) to synthesize customer interactions and coordinate broader team activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 7+ years of sales experience in Diagnostics and Medical devices (or a combination of relevant leadership and technical experience).
• Demonstrated track record of success in launching new technologies, ideally in IVD or medical devices.
• Proven success in strategic sales with a recognized history as a top performer.
• Ability to lead and inspire teams through influence and without direct authority.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM (Salesforce).
• Entrepreneurial spirit with strong learning agility and a desire to innovate based on market feedback.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and product launch champions.
• Experience working within Emergency Departments, Urgent Care Clinics, or EMS settings.
