Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition and rapidly manage injuries or acute illnesses at the scene
• Work closely with paramedics, nurses, and advanced life support teams
• Manage emergency patients and ensure professional clinical handover
• Maintain accurate medical records and patient documentation
• Coordinate with external emergency services and healthcare agencies
• Adhere to Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) protocols
• Maintain personal clinical competence through regular CPD

Requirements

• Registered and actively licensed EMT or national equivalent in an EU member state
• Valid, current ACLS or ALS certification
• Minimum of two years of full-time relevant professional experience as a certified EMT
• Proven experience in emergency medicine, pre-hospital care, or transportation medicine

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in military ambulance, humanitarian aid, natural disaster sites, or post-conflict areas
• Experience working in remote or austere environments
