Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition and rapidly manage injuries or acute illnesses at the scene
• Work closely with paramedics, nurses, and advanced life support teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Manage emergency patients and liaise with medical staff to ensure professional clinical handover
• Maintain accurate medical records and patient documentation in line with organizational and international regulations
• Coordinate with external emergency services to promote chain-of-care continuity
• Adhere to strict Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) protocols and clinical guidelines
• Support clinical mentoring, training initiatives, and skills development for on-site staff

Requirements

• Currently registered and actively licensed as an EMT (or national equivalent) in an EU member state
• Valid and current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
• Minimum of two years of full-time, relevant professional experience as a certified EMT
• Proven hands-on experience in emergency medicine, pre-hospital care, or transportation medicine

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as an EMT or paramedic within military ambulance services, humanitarian aid missions, or natural disaster sites
• Experience working in remote, austere, or post-conflict environments
