Emergency Medical Technician (EMT – DCAS)

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to emergency and non-emergency ambulance calls
• Provide Basic Life Support (BLS), first aid, CPR, and emergency medical care
• Perform patient assessments including vital signs, history, and physical evaluation
• Administer oxygen therapy, AED usage, bleeding control, and trauma care
• Safely transport patients to designated healthcare facilities
• Operate and maintain ambulance equipment and emergency medical supplies
• Maintain accurate and timely patient care documentation and reports
• Follow DCAS protocols, infection control, and patient safety standards
• Assist paramedics or senior medical staff during emergency interventions
• Ensure ambulance readiness before and after each shift

Requirements

• Valid DCAS EMT License or Eligibility (Mandatory)
• Diploma or Certification in Emergency Medical Services or a related field
• Valid BLS certification
• English fluency
• Ability to work under pressure and make strong decisions
• Physical and mental fitness for emergency duties
• Immediate availability or ability to join within 1–2 weeks

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of EMT or ambulance experience
• ACLS, PHTLS, or ITLS certification
• Valid UAE driving license
