Emergency Medical Technician

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to calls and provide efficient medical care
• Transport patients safely to, from, and between healthcare facilities
• Provide medical bystanding at events and corporate sites
• Perform basic life support and emergency medical procedures
• Operate and maintain medical equipment and ambulances
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and first responders
• Document patient information and care provided accurately

Requirements

• 2 years of experience as an EMT or in emergency services
• 1 year of work experience in the UAE as an EMT (DOH / MOH license)
• DCAS Prometric passed and DCAS Dataflow positive
• Eligibility for a DCAS license
• Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and Trauma (e.g., PHTLS)
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Clean police clearance certificate
• Physical fitness and the ability to lift and carry heavy equipment
• Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions under pressure

Preferred Qualifications

• Valid and active DCAS EMT license
• More than 1 year of recent work experience as an EMT in Dubai
• UAE driving license with more than 1 year of experience
• DCAS ambulance driving license
• Knowledge of UAE roads
• Proficiency in Arabic
