Responsibilities
- Deploy to client sites for extended periods of time upon short notice
- Perform duties specific to assigned roles such as Logistics, Finance, Planning, or Operations
- Work in various environments including offices, Emergency Operations Centers (EOC), or field sites in adverse weather
- Maintain high standards of safety and compliance with all health and safety policies
- Collaborate with team members and clients to improve disaster outcomes and build resilience
Requirements
- Experience or background in applicable emergency management roles
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Ability to deploy to site locations with 24-48 hours notice
- Experience with mobile technology
- Ability to work independently and under stressful conditions with tight deadlines
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of FEMA programs and policy
- Working knowledge of the Incident Command System (ICS-100-800)
- Experience working in an Emergency Operations Center (EOC)
- Active FEMA badge
- Relevant certifications, credentials, or specialized training
