Responsibilities

• Deploy to client sites for extended periods of time upon short notice
• Perform duties specific to assigned roles such as Logistics, Finance, Planning, or Operations
• Work in various environments including offices, Emergency Operations Centers (EOC), or field sites in adverse weather
• Maintain high standards of safety and compliance with all health and safety policies
• Collaborate with team members and clients to improve disaster outcomes and build resilience

Requirements

• Experience or background in applicable emergency management roles
• Eligibility to work in the United States
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• Ability to deploy to site locations with 24-48 hours notice
• Experience with mobile technology
• Ability to work independently and under stressful conditions with tight deadlines
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of FEMA programs and policy
• Working knowledge of the Incident Command System (ICS-100-800)
• Experience working in an Emergency Operations Center (EOC)
• Active FEMA badge
• Relevant certifications, credentials, or specialized training
