Embroidery Quality Control Specialist

Responsibilities

• Own pre-production approval by reviewing art proofs and assessing sew-out samples against specifications
• Manage third-party decorator relationships and establish quality standards
• Perform final shipping inspections for loose threads, puckering, seam integrity, and color accuracy
• Track and communicate quality metrics, documenting defect trends and reporting monthly performance
• Conduct daily quality audits with decorators to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
• Maintain a complete audit trail using Cadence and photographic records
• Support order management by coordinating on rush orders and delivery risks

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in embroidery production or quality control
• Proficiency with embroidery software such as Wilcom, Tajima, or Hatch
• Experience managing vendor or decorator relationships
• Proficiency with Cadence, Printavo, Google Sheets, and photography documentation
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years in embroidery/decoration quality or production leadership
• Experience with heat transfer, sew-on labels, or screen printing
• Familiarity with Madera thread colors and color-matching workflows
• Certification in Quality Assurance
