Embroidery Production Lead

Responsibilities

• Partner with Operations Manager to launch the end-to-end embroidery program within 1 month
• Manage performance and attendance of the decoration team to meet established targets
• Evaluate and procure equipment and tooling including multi-head machines, hoops, and threads
• Develop SOPs, quality control checkpoints, and defect rate benchmarks
• Onboard and train a team of 15+ operators
• Adjust labor, workflows, and priorities to scale to 8,000 units per week
• Lead daily standups and weekly operations updates
• Manage equipment uptime and consumables inventory
• Verify new products for feasibility, material compatibility, and logo placement
• Assist with capacity planning, cost targets, and expansion roadmaps

Requirements

• 5–8 years in embroidery production
• Experience launching a program or facility from scratch preferred
• Deep knowledge of commercial multi-head embroidery machines, digitizing, and hooping
• Proven track record building SOPs and training large production teams
• Management experience overseeing a team of 20+ FTEs
• Familiarity with production tracking tools, WMS, or ERP systems
• Knowledge of safety protocols and manufacturing best practices
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for the entirety of a shift
