Embroidery Operations & Digitizing Expert

Responsibilities

• Convert customer artwork into production-ready embroidery files using Tajima DG16
• Create efficient stitch paths to minimize trims, jumps, and machine downtime
• Digitize for various fabric types including performance apparel, caps, knits, and heavy jackets
• Optimize designs for different embroidery machine brands and formats
• Analyze sew-outs and implement corrective digitizing adjustments to prevent puckering or distortion
• Reduce stitch counts while maintaining high visual quality and machine efficiency

Requirements

• 2-3 years of professional embroidery digitizing experience
• Expertise in Tajima DG16 or Wilcom software
• Deep understanding of stitch types, underlay strategies, and density control
• Knowledge of pull compensation and fabric distortion management
• Experience with commercial embroidery equipment such as Tajima, Barudan, SWF, or Ricoma
• Familiarity with various fabrics including cotton, polyester, fleece, and leather
