Embedded Train System Engineer

Responsibilities

• Specify system requirements including technical, functional, industrial, and reliability/availability needs.
• Export contractual requirements to suppliers and internal development teams.
• Manage technical interfaces with both internal and external partners during the bidding and project phases.
• Define technical solutions and Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) commitments for tenders.
• Develop system evolutions and associated tools in line with project needs.
• Deliver necessary documentation for system users and ensure technical consistency between project developments and standard solutions.
• Manage system evolution and sustaining throughout its entire lifecycle.

Requirements

• Degree in electronics or electrical engineering.
• Understanding of embedded electronics and product certification/homologation processes.
• Knowledge of networks, telecommunications, passenger information systems, or video surveillance.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in multicultural and multidisciplinary environments.
• Strong decision-making skills, sense of priority, and ability to lead technical interfaces.
