Embedded Threat Intelligence Analyst Team Leader

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the team’s monitoring of open source, social media, and vendor feeds for global security threats
• Oversee the drafting and quality assurance of incident alerts and analytical reports
• Provide leadership and direction during ongoing incidents and crisis management briefings
• Ensure effective escalation, incident triage, and adherence to established procedures
• Drive optimisation of processes, SOPs, and analytical methodologies
• Provide mentorship, coaching, and performance oversight to analysts
• Collaborate with client stakeholders to ensure intelligence outputs align with operational needs

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in security studies, international relations, business management, or related field
• 3–5 years of experience in threat monitoring, intelligence analysis, or geopolitical risk roles
• 1–3 years of leadership or team management experience
• Experience within corporate intelligence, GSOC/SOC, or similar operational security environments
• Expert knowledge of geopolitical issues and security threats
• Advanced research and analytical skills
• Experience using threat monitoring tools and open-source research techniques

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree
• Knowledge in environmental hazards, natural disasters, or climate risk
• Proficiency with GIS mapping tools (e.g. ESRI)
• Technical competency with analytical platforms such as IBM i2, Tableau, Splunk, Recorded Future, or Palantir
• Additional language competencies
