Embedded Systems Manager, Radar

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the team responsible for software and complex electronic hardware for air-to-air radar
• Mature engineering processes to balance execution with formal DO-178C/DO-254 verification
• Support rapid integration and flight testing of the radar system
• Develop and execute technical roadmaps and manage team priorities
• Build, develop, and empower a high-performance team focused on certifiable radar systems

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline
• 7+ years of professional experience in embedded software development (C/C++) or electronics hardware development (VHDL/Verilog)
• 3+ years in a technical leadership or people management role
• Experience working on complex systems where hardware and software intersect

Preferred Qualifications

• Success scaling teams and maturing processes in high-growth environments
• Hands-on experience with Radar algorithms, signal processing, integration, and testing
• Experience with full hardware product development from prototype to production
• Experience with the full lifecycle of a DO-178C certification program
• Experience with safety-critical FPGA verification (DO-254 level A/B or equivalent)
