Embedded Systems Engineer Intern

Responsibilities

• Port the EFR32 Zigbee framework to the Zephyr OS environment
• Adapt the existing build system (CMake/Makefile) to support Zephyr modules (west, Kconfig)
• Integrate Zephyr support into existing C code, including abstraction layers and kernel initialization
• Identify and adapt Silicon Labs SDK dependencies (drivers, GPIO, timers) to Zephyr APIs
• Flash and validate applications on EFR32 hardware to ensure Zigbee functionality and robustness
• Document technical results and necessary adjustments

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bac + 4 or Bac + 5 level degree in Engineering
• Proficiency in the C programming language
• Foundational knowledge of microcontrollers
• Understanding of build systems such as Makefile or CMake
• Knowledge of Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS)
• Experience with Zephyr OS is a plus but not mandatory
