Embedded Software Engineer (Space Technology)

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software for satellite systems, sensors, or communication solutions
• Work through all project phases from design and implementation to test and verification
• Support customers in creating robust, optimized, and flexible solutions at system and design levels
• Work independently or in teams in varying and developing environments

Requirements

• Several years of experience in embedded development (e.g., C or C++)
• Experience with hardware-near software development (e.g., Embedded Linux, RTOS, bare-metal)
• Experience developing complex systems with high requirements for quality and reliability
• Academic degree in electrical engineering, computer science, engineering physics, space technology, or similar
• Proficiency in Swedish and English
• Swedish citizenship (required for security clearance)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the space industry or New Space companies
• Knowledge of space standards like ECSS or CCSDS
• Experience with communication protocols (SpaceWire, CAN-bus, Ethernet, etc.)
• Skills in FPGA design, electronics, or signal processing
• Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, or automation tools
• Experience in defense, medtech, or automotive industries
