Embedded Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions for advanced AR eyewear devices
• Develop modem software and verify functionalities and performance, including call quality, data, thermal/power, and connectivity
• Identify modem software performance gaps by analyzing system requirements, design, and software implementation
• Debug, analyze, and fix modem issues originating from factory, certification, field, and end-user environments

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent field
• Proficiency in C or C++ programming
• Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms
• Understanding of network protocols such as TCP, UDP, and IP
• Strong debugging and testing skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Cellular Software (Radio Interface Layer), WLAN, or Bluetooth
• Experience in software development to support cellular carrier certification
• Solid understanding of OS concepts including heap, stack, threads, mutex, memory, and scheduling
