Embedded Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for drone platforms
• Optimize software for high-performance platforms including Qualcomm Snapdragon and NVIDIA Jetson
• Integrate and test software for gimbals, cameras, and payloads
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to debug new hardware
• Implement and test device drivers for sensors and peripherals
• Contribute to real-time flight control and navigation systems
• Document software designs, test procedures, and issue resolutions

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Proficiency in C/C++ programming for embedded systems
• Solid understanding of embedded systems concepts
• Familiarity with microcontrollers and microprocessors (ARM, STM32)
• Knowledge of communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN)
• Ability to read electronics schematics and datasheets
• Experience with Git version control
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Qualcomm Snapdragon Flight or NVIDIA Jetson platforms
• Experience with MAVLink protocol
• Familiarity with ROS2 (Robot Operating System 2)
• Experience with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS)
• Familiarity with embedded Linux development
• Knowledge of PX4/ArduPilot and flight dynamics
• Experience with Python scripting
• Familiarity with JTAG, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers
