Embedded Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own complex challenges from definition to solution
• Deliver safety critical systems while considering power, radio, and thermal requirements
• Take ownership of products and core features from planning and design to execution and testing
• Contribute to bare-metal firmware using a fundamental understanding of hardware
• Work in a fast-paced iterative environment to ship manufacturable solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or related field
• 1+ years of experience with embedded systems
• Proficiency in embedded C or Rust
• Ability to design bare-metal embedded systems in highly constrained environments
• Strong Electrical Engineering and signal processing fundamentals

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with embedded stacks for ARM cores
• Experience with safety-critical systems
• Experience with FPGA development and testing
• Experience with RF, BLE, and TCP/IP stacks
• Experience with applied cryptography and embedded systems security
