Embedded Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop firmware subsystems, including DSP, embedded code, EFI drivers, EFI applications, and BIOS/UEFI printer engines
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to analyze design requirements and determine necessary coding and integration activities
• Write and execute complete testing plans, protocols, and documentation for assigned application portions
• Identify, debug, and create solutions for issues related to code and application architecture integration
• Communicate firmware status, project progress, and issue resolution to management

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent field
• 0-2 years of professional experience
• Proficiency in C, C++, and Python
• Strong understanding of firmware and hardware design principles
• Knowledge of firmware design tools and basic testing, coding, and debugging procedures
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
