Embedded Software Engineer, (Graduate)

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain QEMU-based device and platform models
• Integrate and validate software components including firmware, drivers, and applications
• Provide accurate system-level emulation through automated tests and CI pipeline support
• Assist with test procedures and document results to ensure software requirements are met
• Support software project management and supplier management functions
• Perform software research, trade studies, and troubleshooting under general supervision

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Fresh graduate or up to 2 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in C programming; familiarity with C++ is preferred
• Coursework or project experience in Operating Systems, Embedded Systems, or Computer Architecture
• Basic understanding of major processor architectures such as ARM or x86
• Understanding of Agile development methodology or experience working on team projects
• Fluency in both English and Korean

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to QEMU/KVM or virtualization technologies
• Knowledge of computer architecture fundamentals (microprocessors, instruction sets, memory hierarchy, interrupts)
• Understanding of embedded system peripherals and protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, SATA, PCI, etc.)
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or Bash
• Experience with Git and Visual Studio Code
• Ability to read and interpret hardware datasheets and register specifications
• Exposure to aerospace protocols like MIL-STD-1553, ARINC 429, or ARINC 664
