Embedded Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test product-specific software for Radar Systems throughout the entire product development cycle
• Apply model-based development within a distributed embedded system environment
• Work on software architecture, including writing, testing, and debugging code according to specifications and defined processes
• Collaborate with customers to discuss specific solutions for improving system performance, function implementation, and system interfaces
• Complete software module and integration test reports based on test results
• Take primary responsibility for software modules within HELLA ADAS products

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics
• 2-5 years of professional experience in Embedded Systems
• Proficiency in C, C++, and CAPL
• Experience with embedded development tools such as Rhapsody, Polyspace, WindIdea, Davinci, or DOORs
• Experience using simulation and development tools like Vector CANoe
• Strong knowledge of communication and diagnostic protocols including CAN, LIN, Ethernet, TCP/IP, and UDS
• Good communication skills in English and ability to work effectively in a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with 32-bit MCU or Infineon TriCore MCU
• Experience with Autosar architecture
