About the role

Responsibilities

  • Create software for robotics components and systems, including algorithms, high-level C++, lower-level C code, and user interfaces
  • Test software in system integration laboratories, simulation, and on fully-realized robots
  • Analyze system performance through data logs and post-processing software and scripts
  • Troubleshoot and debug complex hardware-software interactions on embedded targets
  • Write use cases and software specifications, and participate in design and code reviews
  • Work with serial buses, I2C, SPI, and CAN
  • Integrate sensors, actuators, and computing technologies into robotic systems
  • Document software using industry-standard best practices

Preferred Qualifications

  • Rust for embedded applications
  • NVIDIA Jetson, IMX8, or STM32
  • FreeRTOS, Zephyr, or QNX
  • ISO 26262 or MISRA C/C++
  • SAE J1939 or off-road vehicle networks
