Embedded Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded software unit testing for automotive ECUs
• Integrate software components into ECU platforms and ensure compatibility with hardware and vehicle network constraints
• Perform root-cause analysis on software defects, communication issues, and ECU malfunctions
• Use diagnostic tools such as CANoe, CANalyzer, UDS, DoIP, and OBD-II to identify issues
• Develop and validate UDS diagnostic services, DTCs, and fault memory strategies
• Analyze communication traces (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet) to detect anomalies
• Support integration tests on benches, HIL systems, and in-vehicle testing
• Ensure compliance with automotive standards such as AUTOSAR, ISO 26262, and ASPICE
• Create and maintain technical documentation including SRS and SDD

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Embedded Systems, Electronics Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Model-Based Development (MBD)
• Solid experience in embedded software development using C/C++
• Strong knowledge of automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Automotive Ethernet)
• Hands-on experience with Vector tool suite (CANalyzer, CANoe, CANape)
• Understanding of AUTOSAR architectures and ASPICE-compliant development
• Professional proficiency in English
