Embedded Software Development Engineer

Responsibilities

• Act as an embedded software development specialist on various client projects or ALTEN-led projects
• Provide technical expertise during pre-sales phases, including needs analysis and technical response development
• Contribute to the definition and implementation of the embedded software expertise strategy
• Participate in the structuring and evolution of the business unit
• Dynamize the professional community by sharing knowledge, organizing training, and providing technical support
• Represent the company at major external events, conferences, and professional associations
• Develop strategic partnerships within the field

Requirements

• Engineering degree or Master's degree (Bac+5)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in embedded software development
• Experience in aeronautics and/or space sectors is ideal
• Expertise in embedded software architectures and component specification
• Advanced proficiency in C and Java for embedded systems
• Experience with real-time constraints and performance optimization
• Ability to design robust test plans and perform validation via numerical simulators
• Proficiency in English (written and oral)
• Willingness to travel for professional meetings and events

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in technical training (module creation, coaching, or event animation)
• Interest in mentoring and knowledge capitalization
