Embedded Software Architect/Technical Lead

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze and manage SW requirements and clarify gaps with customer expectations
• Design and approve SW architecture models meeting safety standards
• Define variation handling to ensure SW reusability
• Evaluate and verify SW architecture quality and manage technical debt
• Guide development teams through implementation and provide architectural expertise
• Review software artifacts for compliance with design principles
• Monitor and approve software quality metrics
• Assess technical feasibility and estimate efforts for new projects
• Support ASPICE assessments and SW quality gate releases
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including system, test, and SW platform

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
• 7+ years of embedded software development experience
• Proficiency in C/C++ programming for embedded systems
• Proven experience in software architecture design
• Strong understanding of microcontroller architectures and constraints
• UML modeling skills
• Excellent English communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Automotive software development experience
• AUTOSAR knowledge
• CAN communication protocol expertise
• Understanding of functional safety (ISO 26262) and ASPICE processes
• Experience with model-based software engineering
• Experience with CI/CD, SiL, and ECU testing
• Agile development experience
