About the role
Responsibilities
- Strengthen the first line of defense by challenging product management and identifying emerging risks.
- Design and prototype AI agents to enable effective challenge of AI-driven business processes and model governance.
- Drive the shift from reactive to predictive risk management through data-driven insights and digital tools.
- Lead independent reviews of risk incidents, ensuring robust root cause analysis and systemic driver identification.
- Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of issues and action plans, validating remediation effectiveness.
- Provide independent challenge over control testing programs and evaluate effectiveness using quantitative insights.
- Partner with business teams to embed risk considerations into the development of new products and services.
- Promote a strong, forward-looking risk culture grounded in responsible AI use and ethical technology application.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of related experience in risk management.
- Demonstrated experience leading and executing Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs).
- Expertise in Risk Management and Incident Management.
- Proven ability in stakeholder management and influencing senior leadership.
- Strong experience with issue lifecycle management, audits, and control frameworks.
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- AI and digital mindset with an inclination toward AI-driven risk insights and automation.
- Ability to leverage data for trend analysis and predictive risk identification.
- Experience with GRC (Governance, Risk, and Control) data optimization for analytics.
