Embedded Production Engineer

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert for the MDA/DT Targets program office regarding the design and analysis of target objects and launch vehicles
• Provide oversight of requirements and product development processes
• Perform independent assessments of prime contractor designs and technical reviews of development plans, reports, and procedures
• Evaluate target instrumentation, including requirements, layouts, types, and testing protocols
• Support critical program reviews such as System Requirements Review, Preliminary Design Review, Critical Design Review, and Test Readiness Review
• Coordinate Technical Interchange Meetings and provide technical responses to information requests from MDA organizations
• Assist program schedulers and cost analysis teams to ensure delivery deadlines and accurate cost estimates are met

Requirements

• STEM Master's degree
• 12+ years of experience working on missile defense-related or other complex, large-scale DoD programs
• Active Secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working independently or leading sub-teams to analyze and resolve complex technical problems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
