Embedded Product Security Architect

Responsibilities

• Interface with ecosystem, product security assurance, and product teams to gather security requirements
• Define the security architecture roadmap for Flash products, including firmware, hardware, and manufacturing infrastructure
• Drive threat modeling and reference embedded security architectures for product lines
• Architect interactions between various system components and peripherals
• Contribute to requirements and strategy for verification and validation of security features
• Lead internal security reviews of developed products and guide external evaluations
• Collaborate with hardware design and firmware development teams to ensure secure design mindsets
• Stay updated on emerging industry security standards and best practices

Requirements

• Master or PhD in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in embedded product security
• Expert understanding of practical modern cryptography
• Proficiency in security protocols, authentication, attestation, secure boot, and digital signatures
• Experience with threat modeling and validation
• Proven technical leadership and mentoring experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Specialization in embedded security (HW and/or SW)
• Experience driving FIPS or Common Criteria certification
• Knowledge of data storage controllers' architectures
